Tera Pancake House
A homey neighborhood dessert house that offers classic Japanese-inspired fluffy, stacked souffle pancakes made only with the finest ingredients. The name TERA 寺 (meaning temple in Japanese), pays a tribute to the location of the shop, situated at the iconic Temple Street in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong.
A set of long table with benches is placed in the center to bring in people from different cultures while sharing the joy coming from the delicious confection. With a large round pendant light handcrafted in washi paper brings in soft lighting on top of the long table, giving warmth to the space.
An outdoor bench is cast at the site and finished with traditional paper-faced Tessera tile commonly found in Hong Kong that brings familiarity to the neighborhood.
Tera strives to fulfill your sugar cravings by using the humblest ingredients and the freshest produce. A getaway place where you can indulge your guilty pleasures — stimulating your taste buds and imagination.
"Greatness is a lot of small things done well, stacked up on each other."
